Blizzards of 2009-2010

The winter of 2009-2010 saw the DC area having its snowiest winter on record. Not one, not two, but three major blizzards hit the area - one in December 2009, and then two hit in the space of less than one week in February 2010. The area essentially shut down for that entire week, and the piled snow was a major transportation inconvenience for some time afterwards.
